NEIGHBOUR DAY 2025

Wandi Neighbour Day was a very successful event for the WPA, we noted that attendance numbers were down but the whole point of the event is for residents to meetup with other family and friends in their community. In this way it did the trick.
Thanks to the City of Kwinana for their assistance and part funding. The WPA topped up Councils contribution and organized an event filled afternoon for locals.

Top left: Mucky Duck Bush Band provided background music and encouraged family and friends to get involved in a bush dance.

Far right: Face painting is always top of the list for kids.

Middle left: A vintage fire truck gave anyone who want a ride the opportunity to take a trip around the grounds.

Bottom left: Animal farm is a must in a special rural zone, kids constantly visited this area.

Middle right: Laser tag gave the older kids the opportunity to seek each other out in a harmless way.

Bottom: Sword Point gave demonstration on traditional broadsword fighting.

FREE FOOD ALWAYS GOES DOWN WELL

Top Left: Coffee van setting ready to  serve free coffee.

Top right: Kids love free fairy floss and popcorn

Bottom right: Short queue waiting for free sausage sizzle or hot meat roll with onion and gravey.

Bottom right: Thanks to Kwinana Knights Football Club that served our food in the kitchen.

Free ice-cream was also a success, what no photo!!!
