NEIGHBOUR DAY 2022

Neighbour Day was held on Sunday 27th March from 3-6pm, fortunately the weather was great considering the forecast, a little overcast keeping the heat away and a variable wind that kept the bouncy castle on the ground.

Right:  Woodturners, Carvers, Marquetry,   Boxing and Medieval Clubs organized displays for the residents watch.

Left: There was entertainment by the Mucky Duck Bush Band, getting the kids and parents involved in singing and dancing to their music.

Being a free day the lines for coffee were long the ice-cream line longer. Fairy floss was a hit and the sausage sizzle and hot meat rolls were plentiful.

Right: There was still more, pony rides and farm animals all very popular with the little kids. For those brave enough you could have your face painted to look like your favourite animal.

Thanks' go to the City of Kwinana and the Wandi Progress Association for the sponsorship of the day without the funds and the effort by the WPA committee this type event wouldn't happen in the community.

Photo Top: Neighbour Day is a day for local residents to meet each other in a social environment and connect and what a success it was.
