WANDI PLAYGROUP

Picture
Wandi Playgroup has been running for almost 20 years. The facilities are excellent with a shaded and fenced playground which is well suited to the 0 – 5 year age group with a sand pit beneath. The area is well cared for by the Town of Kwinana. We also have a large shed with plenty of good quality toys and a cupboard of craft material ready for an inspired parent. Playgroup is great for children’s development – it helps to prepare them for school and develop skills including sharing, talking, gross motor, fine motor, playing with others and eating a shared fruit platter, to name just a few advantages!

We are currently a small group of families which live locally in Wandi, Banjup, Casuarina and Hammond Park. We are a friendly and easy going bunch who would love to see other families join us each week. You are able to come regularly or casually and we have a pay structure to suit. Your first session is FREE, just bring a piece of fruit. We run from 9am to 11am on a Tuesday during school term. Fruit time is around 10am.

We have also noticed that children who do not seem to like other playgroups seem to love coming to ours. Maybe it is due to the relaxed atmosphere with the large amount of space around. Some families also have said that this is the only time that their child actually eats fruit!
